The Garden As of June 1, 2011

Actually, there are 2 gardens here: the perennial garden above and the raised beds of vegetables. Only in the past week or so has the front perennial garden gotten all green and bushy.

The Stargazer lilies double in number almost every year. These are about 2-3 feet. They'll get up to 5 feet.

The front of the house, with the perennial flower garden and the new brick path, made of old, recycled bricks.

Below: a few closeups.

Above: the raised beds. All that greenery on the right is strawberries.

A closer angle on the strawberries. We'll have a good crop by the end of the month.

Lots of tomatoes, still scraggly looking. I need to buy more tomato cages ....

Foreground: lettuce. Background: cucumbers and green peppers.

The herb garden: sage, parsley, oregano, green onion.

Come and set a spell.

Looks great, Mike.
It's like living in the midst of a veggie salad.
